Getting traffic from Facebook is not as easy as it use to be when Facebook was first started. But there are some simple methods you can use to get traffic that doesn't cost you anything.
In this article I will share with you two simple methods that you can use in order to generate free traffic from Facebook.
Before we get started I will admit that this will not produce thousands of visitors per day but you can generate 100's of visitors to your site per day if you stay committed.
The first method I really didn't want to mention because you have heard it so many time but I have too. And it is Facebook Groups.
If you have been on Facebook lately, you will see that they are heavily promoting Facebook groups and you probably notice a lot of post from Groups on your timeline.
So does posting links to your website in groups bring you traffic?
The short answer is yes but you have to post in bulk.
The truth is not too many people like to leave the comfort of Facebook to visit a website but some people do. And what you want are the "Some People Traffic".
One group could have 100,000 people in it and if you post in that group maybe 2,500 people will see your post and only 10 people may visit your site. This is why I call it "Some People Traffic".
But imagine if you are in 100 groups and for every group you post in you average 10 visitors per group. That's a womping 1,000 visitors overall and that is nothing to look down at.
The next method that can send you free traffic from Facebook I call engagement hacking.
This method is slow but it works with over time. In other words you need to be committed to the process.
First step is too find your direct competitors ads on Facebook. This isn't hard at all, just start liking the pages of your competition and if they are running ads, it will most likely start to show up on your timeline.
The next thing you will need to do is to start leaving reply comments (As Your Facebook Page) to people who have made a comment on the advertising post.
This method is genius. Because you get to target people who engaged with the ad. Which means these are people who your competitor targeted by paying to reach them.
In other words instead of you having to pay Facebook to find your target audience, you get to snipe your competitors ads by speaking to people they paid to reach.
Now what will happen next is that "Some People" will visit your Facebook page and engage with it.
They will like your posts and yes even visit your website. It takes time but trust me this works. You can easily get upto 500 new likes to your fanpage per week by staying consistent with this method.
